Hawaiian Hero's Project
thinking and problem solving
The Hawaiian Hero project is probably one of the biggest project I've ever done. This project include 5 seperate mini projects. These include an Essay, Debate, Portrait, a
Quiz show, and a trailer. All of these things were centered around a hawaiian hero of our choosing. This person had to be someone who changed the lives of the hawaiian people. And our goal was to convince everyone else that our hero did more to help the hawaiian people. |

I choose this work sample to share on my portfolio because I thought it was interesting. It was a unique project that I enjoyed working on. I enjoyed researching and getting to present what I had found. Which makes the project something I wanted to display on my portfolio.
The 21st century skill I decided to represent this project was thinking and problem solving. The reasoning behind this decision was the fact that through all 5 of the mini projects that I made I ran into problems. But using my thinking and problem solving skill I overcame them and was able to move forward.
This sample demonstrated my current growth in problem solving. Thanks to all the trails this project brought up, I am now even more capable at solving problems that arise.
An opportunity for new growth in this project would be better time management in different parts of the project. For example I wish I spent more time on digging up dirt on my opponent's hero instead of mainly researching mine. This would have improved aspects of my project.
